& SIXTH FORM Sic Nos Non Nobis Lady Hawkins’ School

Lady Hawkins’ School is an 11-18 Comprehensive School set in Kington on the Welsh Borders, a ‘Centre of Learning at the Heart of the Community’. The school, founded in 1632, prides itself on its caring atmosphere.

80% A*- C GCSE Mathematics overall results in 2015, along with excellent results in all other subjects especially English, Science, Humanities and 100% Modern Foreign Languages, shows the hard work of the Staff and Students.

The School is very lucky to be set in beautiful grounds with a new Sixth Form Centre, an Eco Classroom, plus a brand new all-weather outdoor Tennis Courts and Multi Use Games Area which have just been completed for the school and the community.

In addition to its academic successes, with a large proportion of the Sixth Form Students qualifying for excellent universities, the school encourages extra-curricular activities. Students participate in Duke of Edinburgh Awards, Battlefields and Field Trips, Ski Trips, Musical and Drama Productions. Sixth Form Students participate in the Young Enterprise Scheme, and visits to Auschwitz and to our link school in Uganda. We are extremely proud of the all-round education we provide.
