Welcome to the Lady Hawkins’ School and Sixth Form web site. Lady Hawkins’ is a small, rural community comprehensive school set in the Welsh Borders. We have a long history but seek to combine this with the best of modern developments to provide a first class education for children of all ages and abilities.

We see Lady Hawkins’ as the “Centre of Learning at the Heart of the Community” and greatly value the strong links that have developed with our community partners. This close liaison allows us to work with students from pre-school and primary age, through KS3 and KS4, into our Sixth Form and beyond to university or employment. This is supported by Ofsted, who have given us a grading of “Outstanding” for our work on community cohesion as well as for the work done by students in our community.
