Congratulations to our Year 13 and Year 11 students who have finished their coursework and are now

about to begin study leave to prepare for their final examinations. Similarly our Year 12 and Year 10

students are preparing for modular examinations that will contribute to their final grades. Best wishes

to all the students and thank you very much to all the staff and parents who have freely given time to

support learning.As students move on we prepare to welcome our new intake from the cluster schools. As part of our

induction programme for students we will be completing our usual round of evening meetings out in

the cluster schools, details of these will be given in a separate letter to the Year 6 parents.

Students join us at an exciting time for the school, we have reviewed several key features and

following on from the “Wants and Offers” exercises, staff and parents consultation questionnaires and

the various staff and governors meetings to discuss and approve changes we will be introducing

several measures in response to the action points raised: Care, Guidance and Support, Lessons and

Learning and School Uniform.
